New Services

We are pleased to announce the following new Employee Assistance Services and Crisis Management and Response Services available from ResponseWorks, Inc. in 2001.

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE

  • Workplace Violence Prevention and Response Services
ResponseWorks, Inc. emphasizes prevention when it comes to workplace violence and threatening behavior. We teach managers and other employees how to keep small problems from becoming explosive ones, and how to recognize and respond to an escalating threat to safety in the workplace. Whether the issue is work related or stems from domestic violence, our aim is to help make it much less likely that you will ever need our trauma response services. However, if you do, our training will have made you better able to respond effectively, and our crisis response team will be there to support you and your employees.
  • Downsizing Consultation and Support Services
ResponseWorks, Inc. provides consultation and training for managers faced with implementing corporate downsizing policies. Assistance is provided through ongoing consultation regarding employee responses to job loss, as well as group training sessions.

Resources and support services are also provided to employees who face serious life transitions in terms of job loss, relocation and early retirement. Services are provided individually and in groups both for those losing their job as well as 'survivors'.

CRISIS MANAGEMENT AND RESPONSE SERVICES
  • Incident Support Services for the Transportation Industry
ResponseWorks, Inc. announces a new service specifically designed to assist transportation companies in more effectively planning for and responding to incidents that create traumatic stress for their customers and employees. Seemingly 'minor incidents', those resulting in injury to passengers during travel, as well as 'close calls', create the need for information and services to alleviate traumatic stress and respond to serious customer care and business recovery issues.

ResponseWorks is equipped to assist in the planning for and responding to such incidents and is experienced in providing such services both to customers/passengers and employees. Our comprehensive approach includes:

  • Incident Response Planning and Management
  • Notification System
  • Training for staff responsible for customer care
  • Toll free assistance immediately available following an incident-in the US and internationally-for employees and passengers
  • On site assistance for employees and passengers
  • Consultation and coordination with Customer Service and Customer Relations personnel
  • Qualified, experienced traumatic stress counseling, if needed
  • Short term and long term follow up
